Zoie Desrosiers (b.2004) is a photographer based in London. She studied Photography in Arts University Bournemouth before moving to Central Saint Martins to study Culture, Criticism, and Curation. Having been raised in Panama by a Korean mother and an American father, Desrosiers always questioned where she belonged in the world.

After receiving an old analogue camera as a teenager, Desrosiers found herself through photography; looking into the intricacies of her surroundings, routines, and relationships, she discovered comfort in the ordinary and a beauty in the mundane.

Desrosiers sought inspiration from coastal cities, friends, strangers, and endless visits to the cinema. Her visual style is influenced by films, memories, and maladaptive daydreams as her work blends reality with a sense of otherworldliness. She aims to bring to light the surrealism of everyday, revealing the ethereal tenderness that life has to offer.
