Afterlife, 2025
‘Afterlife’ is a collection of photos exploring the haunting of time, reality, and people in the 21st century.
We humans have become foreigners in our own soil, searching endlessly for a sense of belonging. We stain the paths we carve and haunt spaces long after we’ve departed; our spirit is present everywhere.
But it isn’t the only thing to experience this kind of afterlife. The camera turns all that is ephemeral eternal, capturing a moment that can only exist once and stretching it along the passage of time. Inspired by the relationship between humans, Earth, and temporality in the age of technology, this collection begs the question: how eternal are we in the 21st century?
